No play was possible on the fourth morning of Kent's rain-ruined Specsavers County Championship clash with Somerset in Canterbury where further heavy showers ruled on play on Thursday morning.

Umpires Martin Saggers and Billy Taylor inspected at 11.15am, but the rain returned during their sojourn out in the middle, after which they decided that the players will take an early lunch at 12.30pm.
There will be a further inspection thereafter.
