Northern Districts scored an impressive 230-5 with Brett Hampton 64 and Daryl Mitchell 61 top scoring and Blair Tickner 2-37 the pick of the bowlers for Central Districts.
In reply, Central Districts were always going to struggle with the massive run chase total and they were completely undone by the bowling of Tarun Nethula 6-23 and losy by 131 runs.
