Online Cricket Betting Tips and Match Prediction BBL- Adelaide Strikers v Brisbane Heat

Chris Lynn has been in good form

The season has not panned out as expected for defending champions Adelaide Strikers.

Despite winning the game against Hobart Hurricanes, they are still not certain of a playoff qualification with five wins from 12 matches. The Brisbane Heat won the last game to climb from the bottom of the points table but their chances of qualification to the playoffs remain as good as nil.

In the last encounter between these two teams, Rashid Khan returned with figures of 3-19 to dismiss Brisbane Heat for 146. In reply, Alex Carey smashed 70 from 46 balls as the Strikers won the match by five wickets.

The Strikers are expected to welcome back Peter Siddle who has not been included in the Australian Test XI against Sri Lanka. The opening combination of Alex Carey and Jake Weatherald bounced back in form with a 116-run partnership in the last game.

Weatherald now has 318 runs while Carey has 278. The experienced Colin Ingram has also crossed 300 runs with three half-centuries. Among the bowlers, Rashid Khan has picked up 16 wickets while Peter Siddle has also been economical in the few appearances that he has made.

Brisbane Heat have started experimenting out of desperation. They have pushed Brendon McCullum at number four and promoted all-rounder Ben Cutting to open the innings. Chris Lynn and Max Bryant are their other leading batsmen. Matt Renshaw is also expected to feature in the playing XI.

In the bowling department, Mujib Ur Rahman has been good and has 12 wickets while Josh Lalor starred with 5-26 against Sydney Sixers and has a total of 14 scalps.

Let's have a look at the probable playing XIs of both teams.
