Middlesex will take on Worcestershire in a County Championship Division Two match, to be played at New Road in Worcester.

Worcestershire are the second place in the Division Two points table with two wins and one loss from three matches. The team has 50 points as opposed to Middlesex's 23. Middlesex have not been able to win a single match and have drawn two, while having suffered a defeat in one game.

Middlesex drew their first match against Northamptonshire, followed by a defeat against Lancashire by seven wickets. The team drew their latest match against Leicestershire.

Worcestershire started off their campaign with a thumping win over Leicestershire by an innings and 18 runs. They won their second game against Durham, while losing their last match against Lancashire by six wickets.
