Online Cricket Betting Tips and Match Predictions - India v Windies 2nd Test Day 1

India v Windies 2nd Test Match Predictions

It pains the heart to see Windies cricket going through such a low. However, cricket is played on the field and not on legacy.

Windies will be delighted with the fact that their lead bowler Kemar Roach will be back in the hunt. He along with Shannon Gabriel will at least test the Indian batsmen first up.

If Jason Holder too recovers from his injury on time, the Windies bowling will then have the potency to put pressure on the Indian batsmen. The Hyderabad which will assist spinners like most subcontinental pitches and Windies would need someone more skilled than Roston Chase or Kraigg Brathwaite to assist Devendra Bishoo.

For India, it would be all about the dress rehearsal for the upcoming Australia tour. One would want to give the likes of Mayank Agarwal and Mohammed Siraj a game to help them ease into international cricket. It would not come as a surprise if either of Virat Kohli or Cheteshwar Pujara is rested to give Mayank some game time. Likewise, Mohammed Shami is a certainty in the Indian Test line-up and can make way for Mohammed Siraj.

As unfortunate as it may sound, any different result other than that in the first Test is not expected. Windies would have done enough if they manage to take the game to the fifth day.

Here's a look at the playing XI of both teams.

India - Lokesh Rahul, Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (c), Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav

Windies - Kraigg Brathwaite (c), Kieran Powell, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Roston Chase, Sunil Ambris, Shane Dowrich, Kemar Roach, Devendra Bishoo, Sherman Lewis, Shannon Gabriel
