Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to field against Pakistan at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo in the first ODI of the series.

Imam ul-Haq 128 and Fakhar Zaman 60 put on 113 for the first wicket, allowing the other batsmen freedom to play their shote and take Pakistan to 308-7 in their allotted 50 overs. Hasan Ali 46 and Babar Azam 30 both contributing well.
In reply, Zimbabwe were all out for a disappointing 107 with Shadab Khan 4-32, Faheem Ashraf and Shinwari doing the damage with the ball for Pakistan.
