The four teams qualifying for the playoffs of the Pakistan Super League 2023 have been locked in, with Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators being the two teams to miss out.

Quetta, to be honest, never really stood a chance from the outset and despite winning two matches out of their last three, had a forgettable campaign.

Karachi Kings lost their first three matches of PSL 2023 but came back slightly, winning 2 of their next 3 games. However, it was a struggle for the side who might now regret the decision to let go off Babar Azam who was a sure shot run machine for them.

Coming to individual performances, Mohammad Rizwan has held on to his top spot in the run-scoring charts with 483 runs from 10 matches at a sensational average of over 60 and an impressive strike rate of 145.05 .

Babar Azam (SR: 146.48), in fact, has struck at a slightly better rate than his Pakistan opening partner Mohammad Rizwan and has scored 416 runs at an average of 52. But, both his recent big knocks came in losing causes which hasn't left a good taste for the fans.

Multan's duo of Abbas Afridi and Ihsanullah is leading the wicket-taking charts with 22 and 20 wickets respectively.
