Pandey, Yusuf guide Kolkata Knight Riders to thrilling win

Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan scored 69 and 59 runs respectively as Kolkata Knight Riders chased down 169 in 19.5 overs with four wickets in hand against Delhi Daredevils in the 18th match of Indian Premier League at Feroz Shah Kotla.
Delhi won the toss and decided to bat first. Sanju Samson (39), Sam Billings (21), Karun Nair (21) and Shreyas Iyer (26) all got starts but failed to carry on big as Nathan Coulter-Nile (3-22) provided Kolkata with regular breakthroughs.
A late flourish from Rishabh Pant (38) and Chris Morris (16) helped the team recover and post 168 for seven in the 20 overs.
In the chase, Gautam Gambhir (14), Colin de Grandhomme (1) and Robin Uthappa (4) fell early and the visitors were reduced to 21 for three.
Pandey (69 not out) and Pathan (59) ensured the innings were resurrected with their 110-run stand for the fourth wicket which came off just 72 deliveries but the latter was dismissed by Morris (1-30) in the 15th over.
However, Pandey ensured he carried through and completed the chase in 19.5 overs with four wickets in hand. Coulter-Nile was awarded the player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance.
