Perera's exhilarating final over helps Rangpur Riders secure narrow three run victory

Thisara Perera bagged two crucial big wickets in the ultimate over to defend 10 runs and help Rangpur Riders secure a narrow three runs victory during the Bangladesh Premier League at Dhaka on Tuesday.
While chasing a moderate 143-run target, the Dhaka Dynamites chase never took-off at key moments for Shakib Al Hasan and his star studded batting-lineup.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Jahirul Islam top-scored with 29 of 19 balls with Evin Lewis scoring 28 of 25 while opening the batting for Dynamites.
Apart from Perera, Mashrafe Mortaza (2-30) and Rubel Hossain (2-29) performed well with the ball for the Riders.
Earlier in the match, Chris Gayles lightening quick 51 of 28 balls set the tone for the Riders to put up a big total on the board, however, Shakib al Hasan's fifer completely changed the momentum of the game in favor of Dynamites.
Gayle was awarded the man of the match award for his fifty as the Riders improved to the fifth position in the points table.
