South Africa Women 217 (Perry 3-52) by 43 runs
Fifth One-Day International in Coffs Harbour
Ellyse Perry scored an important 56 and also picked three wickets as Australia Women completed a 4-0 series win by virtue of their 46-run victory in the fifth One-Day International against South Africa Women in Coffs Harbour.
South Africa won the toss and opted to field first. Nicole Mooney (43) and Beth Mooney (20) provided a solid opening stand of 47.
Despite, loosing Mooney, Bolton added another vital 57-run stand with Meg Lanning (42). Even though Sune Luus (3-56) brought South Africa back into the game by removing both the settled players and had them at 138 for four, Perry (56) came to the rescue yet again.
Perry's 78-run partnership with Jess Jonassen (39) proved vital as Australia went past the 200-run mark. In the process she also completed yet another half-century.
Late strikes from Moseline Daniels (3-53) ensured South Africa made some recovery but Australia went on to post 260 for nine in their 50 overs.
Lizelle Lee (44) and Luus (31) started the chase well with a 66-run opening stand but the former was run out which triggered the collapse once again.
Mignon du Preez (31), Dinesha Devnarain (26) and Chloe Tryon (32) all got starts but failed to carry on as South Africa lost the game by 43 runs.
The win has also completed a 4-0 series victory for Australia with Perry bagging the player of the match.
