Despite, loosing Mooney, Bolton added another vital 57-run stand with Meg Lanning (42). Even though Sune Luus (3-56) brought South Africa back into the game by removing both the settled players and had them at 138 for four, Perry (56) came to the rescue yet again.

Late strikes from Moseline Daniels (3-53) ensured South Africa made some recovery but Australia went on to post 260 for nine in their 50 overs.

Lizelle Lee (44) and Luus (31) started the chase well with a 66-run opening stand but the former was run out which triggered the collapse once again.
