The Perth Scorchers have made a late change to their 13-player squad ahead of today’s KFC Big Bash League home game against the Sydney Sixers at Optus Stadium.

Ashton Agar has been ruled out of today’s match due to an ankle injury, and the BBL Technical Committee has approved paceman Cameron Green to replace him in the squad.

Scorchers Sports Science Sports Medicine Manager Nick Jones said;

“Ash sustained a moderate grade right ankle lateral ligament injury whilst fielding in the last BBL match against the Melbourne Stars, and did not pass a fitness test last night.

“He will continue his rehabilitation with the aim of being available for our next BBL match against Hobart.”
