Peshawar Zalmi witnesses significant increase in media value during PSL 6 making it stand out as a valuable powerhouse among brands in Pakistan according to Nielsen Sports.

Peshawar Zalmi, being the finalist team of Pakistan Super League for the 4th time this year in PSL 6, garnered a total media value of $48.2 million across all mediums as evaluated by Nielsen Sports with an overall increase of 19% as compared to PSL 4.

In the report, Nielsen Sports mentioned that the total media value generated for Peshawar Zalmi and their partners comprised of TV, Social Media, Print, and Online Media. Peshawar Zalmi’s Sponsors and Partners have garnered higher media values in PSL 6 than previous editions of the league which proves the growth of the league and Zalmi brand over the years.

The most noticebale increase in mileage given to Peshawar Zalmi partners was witnessed in the medium of social media whose valuation jumped to $7.9 million in PSL 6 from $1.5 million in PSL 4 which is a substantial increase across this media platform and highlights the continued importance of social media in adding value to Peshawar Zalmi and its partners.

He further added that “We will soon bring cricket to Peshawar so fans could enjoy the beloved game in their home ground. Peshawar Zalmi has seen significant increase in media evaluation over the years which showcases the growth of Zalmi brand. The total audience of 126 million on TV broadcasts and OTT platforms globally worth $38.6 million during PSL 6 is a proof of Peshawar Zalmi’s popularity.
