Sharjeel Khan smashed the first ever century in the Pakistan Super League to set up a target of 177 runs after which Islamabad United bowled Peshawar Zalmi out for 126 runs to set up a massive 50-run victory in the third qualifying final in Dubai, setting up a final clash with the Quetta Gladiators.
Aizaz Cheema bowled a fabulous final over where he conceded just six runs and went on to pick two wickets as Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by just one-run in the first play-off in Dubai and became the first team to reach the finals of the Pakistan Super League.
A blistering knock of 85 runs from just 45 balls from Brad Hodge gave Peshawar Zalmi a five-wicket win against Karachi Kings in the 19th match of the Pakistan Super League in Dubai and also took the team to the pole position of the points table.
