India's prolific top-order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, has finally come to terms with English conditions scoring his maiden Ton for his county side Derbyshire in a Division Two clash against Leicestershire.

Pujara, who is playing in the county for Derbyshire after a dreary performance in the recently concluded Test series against England, was given out "handling-the-ball" in the first innings for 6.

The 26-year-old batsman now has scores of unbeaten 90 and 100 in two successive county cricket matches.

Pujara was at his fluent best as he scored his maiden county cricket ton with the help of 15 boundaries and a huge six off left-arm spinner James Sykes.

Under pressure to improve his game after struggling to score throughout India's 3-1 Test series debacle, Pujara was involved in two major partnerships.

A 131-run partnership stand for the third wicket with Ben Slater and 82-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Wes Durston composed the Derbyshire innings as they set up a daunting target of 541 runs for Leicestershire.

Derbyshire went on to complete their biggest-ever victory by runs in the LV County Championship after beating Leicestershire by 408 runs.
