Queensland beat South Australia by 24 runs (D/L) in JLT Cup
South Australia won the toss and decided to bowl against Queensland at the North Sydney Oval, Sydney today.

South Australia 334 (Jake Weatherald 69, Callum Ferguson 101; Mark Steketee 3-67, Mitchell Swepson 3-46, Matthew Kuhnemann 3-60)
Result – Queensland beat South Australia by 24 runs (D/L)
Good strong batting from the Queensland top order, in particular, Sam Heazlett 83, Chris Lynn 68, Joe Burns 80* and Jimmy Peirson 70 secured what turned out to be match winning score of 363-5. The pick of the South Australia bowlers were Joe Mennie 2-72 and Cameron Valente 2-77.
In reply, South Australia started brightly with Jake Weatherald and Conor McInerney putting on 89 for the 1st wicket in 12 overs. However, even though Callum Ferguson hit a brilliant century and kept them in the run chase, South Australia were unable to make the 10+ runs an over required in the last 5 overs. Mark Steketee, Mitchell Swepson and Matthew Kuhnemann were the pick of the Queensland bowlers.
