The Queensland Bulls have been forced to make a change to their Marsh Sheffield Shield and Marsh One Day Cup squads after batsman Sam Heazlett was injured yesterday at training.

Heazlett, who has been in dominant form for the ladder-leading Queensland side in the one-day competition, broke a finger while batting and has been ruled out of the Shield game against South Australia starting tomorrow and the one-day match next Wednesday.

Sandgate-Redcliffe left-hander Bryce Street, who scored a record triple century in the Toyota 2nd XI competition earlier this month, has been named as the replacement for Heazlett.

Street, 20, would make his first class debut for Queensland if he plays.

A Bulls rookie contracted player, Street scored 345 for the Queensland Academy of Sport against Victoria in the opening 2nd XI clash of the season at Ian Healy Oval.

Opening batsman Max Bryant comes into the Bulls limited overs line-up in place of Heazlett for next week’s one-day game against the Redbacks at the Gabba.
