Heavy rains lashed at Hagley Oval allowing no play possible on day three in the second Test between New Zealand and Bangladesh.
The game was scheduled to begin at 10:37am local time due to loss of play on day two due to bad weather and the trend continued on first session as well and the umpires called for early lunch at 1:00pm.
With rain showing no signs of slowing down, the umpires decided to call off the day's play by 4pm local time.
At stumps on day three, New Zealand were trailing Bangladesh by 29 runs with three wickets in hand.
