South Africa 8-0 (de Kock 5no) v Australia - no result
Seventh match, Tri-Series, Barbados
Scorecard

Persistent rain led to the abandonment of the seventh match in the tri-series between Australia and South Africa in Barbados with each team sharing two points apiece.

It was Australia who won the toss and decided to bowl first under gloomy conditions with Mitchell Starc, Glenn Maxwell and Scott Boland making a return to the side in the place of Nathan Coulter-Nile, Travis Head and Adam Zampa. South Africa brought in Morne Morkel to replace Tabraiz Shamsi.

However, the game lasted just one over, which was bowled by Starc (0-8) after which it started to pelt down at Kensington Oval.

After nearly three hours, the covers came off for the first time, but only for the rain to return again, which forced the umpires to eventually call off the game.

The result has taken South Africa to 12 points, followed by Australia, who are positioned in second with 11 points. The action now shifts to 21st June when South Africa and West Indies will be taking on each other at the same venue.
