England XI 318-0 (Cook 154no, Carberry 153no) v
Australia 'A'
Tour game, Hobart, day three
Day One | Day Two

For the second day in a row, no play was possible between Australia 'A' and England in their tour game at the Bellerive Oval in Hobart.

England remained unable to move on from their score of 318 without loss due to more rain and a wet outfield.

Openers Alastair Cook (154 not out) and Michael Carberry (153 not out) had overcome a testing early period of play to dominate the Australian bowlers on day one.

However, with just one day remaining, it now appears unlikely that England will bat on - that is if the weather allows play to get back underway.

Instead of the action on the field providing entertainment, there was much talk throughout the day of a document published detailing the dietary requirements that has been sent to each ground hosting England.

Stretching to some 194 recipes for items such as piri-piri breaded tofu, mungbean curry and spinach and quinoa and cranberry breakfast bars, the guide details what food must be available for England's cricketers after each session of play.
