Bangladesh 326 (Mahmudullah 67)
First Test, Chittagong, day four
Scorecard

The fourth day of the first Test between South Africa and Bangladesh in Chittagong was washed out after persistent rain made it impossible to play to start.

The match was nicely poised at stumps on day three when South Africa were 61 for no loss, trailing by 17 runs with both openers having gotten starts.

On day four though, relentless rain has all but ruled out any chance of a result in what was turning out to be a well-contested Test match.

If Bangladesh manage to draw the game in Chittagong, it will be their best result in nine Tests against the Proteas.
