Third Test, Sydney, day three
Scorecard
Persistent rain has led to the abandonment of the third day's play in the third Test between Australia and West Indies in Sydney without a ball being bowled.
The play was delayed at the start of the day due to rain which relented around 10am local time.
Just when an inspection was due 30 minutes later, the rain returned not allowing any further play possible in the day.
Having managed only 86.2 overs of play in the first three days, West Indies remain at 248 for seven with two more days to go.
With the forecast for the next two days not looking encouraging, a draw looks the most likely result here.
