Multan Sultans v Karachi Kings
11th game, Pakistan Super League, Sharjah
Match abandoned without a ball being bowled

Heavy and incessant rain led to the abandonment of the 11th game in the Pakistan Super League between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings in Sharjah without a ball being bowled.

As a result, both the teams share a point apiece allowing Multan Sultans to move to the second position while Karachi Kings have extended their lead at the top.

The toss did happen on time with Karachi Kings opting to field first but as the start time was approaching, the rain arrived forcing covers to be placed in the square.

The rain did a relent a couple of times, only for it to return again and as a result after a five hour wait, the officials decided to call off the play.

Multan Sultans will face Quetta Gladiators next on Saturday while Karachi Kings will line up against Islamabad United next on Monday with Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium hosting both the games.
