Paul Coughlin scored unbeaten 38 runs and picked two wickets as well as Durham completed a six wicket victory against Leicestershire in a seven-over rain affected game of Natwest T20 Blast at Grace Road.

Ronchi (63 not out) looked at his aggressive best as he plundered James Weighell (0-26) for five boundaries and a six in the second over and further smashed Coughlin (2-30) for three fours and a maximum in the fourth over as Durham reached 75 for one after five overs.

Barry McCarthy (1-0) bowled a splendid penultimate over where he conceded just one run but Ronchi with his unbeaten 21-ball knock ensured Leicestershire posted 88 for two in the allotted seven overs.

Durham got off to worst possible start with Cameron Steel (4) and Graham Clark (4) in the first two overs. Paul Collingwood (34) and Coughlin (38 not out) kept Durham in the hunt as they reached 56 for two in five overs.

The duo struck a six each in the sixth over as they smashed 22 runs in it, leaving Durham 11 to get off the final over. Despite, Collingwood and Jack Burnham (0) were run out in the final over, Coughlin held his nerve and guide Durham to a thrilling six wicket victory.
