Royal Challengers Bangalore slump to another defeat against Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore today in the first IPL match of the day.
Royal Challengers Bangalore 149 - 8 (Virat Kohli 41, Moeen Ali 32; Chris Morris 2-28 , Kagiso Rabada 4-21)
Delhi Capitals 152 - 6 (Shreyas Iyer 67, Prithvi Shaw 28; Navdeep Saini 2-24, Moeen Ali 1-22)
Result - Delhi Capitals won by 4 wickets
Royal Challengers Bangalore slumped to another defeat, this time against Delhi Capitals. RCB scored a below par 149 – 8, Virat Kohli 41 and Moeen Ali 32 top scoring with Chris Morris 2-28 and Kagiso Rabada 4-21 outstanding with the ball for Delhi Capitals.
In reply, Delhi Capitals completed the run chase with just over an over to spare and by 4 wickets. RCB did not take their chances - Shreyas Iyer who top scored for Delhi Capitals with 67 was dropped early on and it certainly would have been closer if he had been out then. Navdeep Saini 2-24 and Moeen Ali 1-22 were the pick of the bowlers for RCB.
