
SA v Ind 1st Test Day 2: Rain washes out play at SuperSport Park, Centurion
The second day's play in the first Test of the Freedom Series between host South Africa and India was washed out without a ball being played.
Persistent rain at the Centurion Park ended any possibility of play on the second day.
India were set to start play at 272 for three, but the umpires were forced to call off play at 1400 local time with no possibility of play.
The forecast for the third and fourth day's play is expected to be much better.
For India the star on the opening day was their vice-captain and opener Lokesh Rahul who made an unbeaten 122 and giving him company was former vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane (40).
