Top Batter - Liam Livingstone

In his short career, Liam Livingstone has impressed cricket lovers and experts with his shot making ability. He carries a strike rate of 146.11 in T20 cricket which speaks a lot about his ability with the bat.

Livingstone has 2 centuries to his name in T20 cricket, which is a great achievement. If he gets going in the tournament, other teams will find it hard to contain Mumbai Indians Cape.

 

Top Bowler- Sam Curran:

Sam Curran is one of the best T20 bowlers in world cricket currently. He picked up 13 wickets in the recently concluded ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 at an average of 11.38 and an economy of 6.52. On the back of his brilliant performance with the ball, he was named the Player of the Tournament.

Sam Curran uses his variations well and keeps mixing the pace up. He is an intelligent bowler who also keeps it tight in the death overs. His greatest weapon is the slower ball which he uses when the batters expect it the least.

Sam Curran is a player to look out for in Mumbai Indians Cape Town.

 

Sunrisers Eastern Cape:

Top Batter - Tristan Stubbs

Stubbs has recently earned a national call up due to his consistent performances in South Africa's Domestic circuit. He is a clean striker of the ball who carries an average of 27.03 in T20 cricket with an impressive strike rate of 155.76.

Tristan Stubbs can be at his destructive best on South African pitches. He is currently in the form of his life. Stubbs is coming into the tournament on the back of some great recent performances for the Warriors in List A domestic white ball cricket – he doesn't take a long time to settle down and he likes to take the bowlers on from ball one. It is one of the reasons why he is a player to look out for in Sunrisers Eastern Cape.

 

 

Top Bowler- Sisanda Magala

He is a brilliant pacer who is known for the variations and consistent accuracy during his spells. Magala can bowl the hard lengths and he can also hit the blockhole with consistency in the death overs. He has been a good performer in the South African Domestic circuit and averages 23.95 with the ball at an economy of 7.92.

He will surely be one the top bowlers for Sunrisers Eastern Cape in SA20 2023.

 

 

Paarl Royals

Top Batter- David Miller

Also acknowledged by his fans as 'Killer Miller', he is one of the most destructive batters in the current generation.

Miller holds an impressive average of 36.54 in T20 cricket with a strike rate of 139.12. If the ball is in his arc, it usually goes out of the park.

David Miller played an important role in Gujarat Titans' triumph in IPL 2021 and will be comfortable playing on South African pitches - He is definitely one to watch for the Paarl Royals.

 

Top Bowler- Bjorn Fortuin

Paarl Royals have paid R1.5 million to rope in Bjorn Fortuin for a reason. Fortuin can change the course of the game with his knack of picking up wickets when it matters the most.

Fortuin keeps it tight in the middle overs and doesn't let the batters take control of the situation,  due to his consistent line and length and he is rewarded with wickets at crucial times.

Fortuin has picked up 109 wickets in T20 cricket at an average of 18.66 and an economy of 6.36. He will be a great asset for Paarl Royals to have in their line-up.
