Wihan Lubbe's half century, combined with a bowling show from Fortuin and Jones, was enough to see Paarl Royals to a 10 run win over Durban Super Giants today.

SCORECARD

After winning the toss Super Giants put Royals in the bat, Jason Roy losing his wicket early on before Jos Buttler (35) and Wihan Lubbe (57*) regained some footing.

Dwaine Pretorius (2/35) put some pressure on the middle order, and despite it showing cracks David Miller (28) chipped in to the total.

It was a back and forth innings, Paarl Royals heading in at 169/6.

In response Super Giants openers were quick to get some runs on the board, Kyle Mayers (12) and Wiaan Mulder (29) before the bowlers took over.

Evan Jones (4/33) and Bjorn Fortuin (3/14) took over the innings with a bowling masterclass. However, as hope seemed lost Heinrich Klaasen (57*) continuned to fight, hitting a speedy half century to give fans some hope.

It just wasn't meant to be though, as Paarl Royals escaped with a 10 run win.
