Cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar has urged the young cricketers to focus on giving their best efforts to their team instead of worrying about external factors.
Speaking at Spartan’s global launch in London, Tendulkar said that he wants to help the underprivileged children by sponsoring them and providing them with the best cricketing gear.
Expressing that there was no better feeling than contributing to the team’s success, Tendulkar wants young children to only focus on performing to the best of their ability.
“(Players) should be thinking about scoring runs or taking wickets and giving his best.
“Because, that is the greatest feeling in the world – when you are out in the middle and you are able to do something for your team.
“And I want that to happen to as many children as possible.”
During Spartan’s global launch, Tendulkar was unveiled as the board member of Spartan International and also as a shareholder.
