Asked to bat first, Oman scored a disappointing 111 with Mohammad Nadeem 27 and Sandeep Goud 31* top scoring against some fine blowing from Scotland’s Mark Watt 3-20, Adrian Neill 3-21 and Alasdair Evans 2-10.
Scotland then raced to victory in under 16 overs, meaning Scotland win the Quadrangular Series on net run-rate. Richard Berrington 47* and Calum MacLeod 29* were the masters with the bat and Mohammad Nadeem 2-25, the pick of the Oman bowlers.
