West Indies Cricket Board has confirmed that Afghanistan will tour Caribbean in June to play three One-Day Internationals and as many Twenty20 Internationals.

Rashid Khan registered his career best figures of 18 for seven as Afghanistan claimed a 1-0 lead in the three-match series following their 63-run victory in the first One-Day International against West Indies in St Lucia.

Afghanistan began their tour of Caribbean on the right note after registering a 12-run victory over West Indies Cricket Board President's XI in the warm-up game in St Kitts.

Marlon Samuels recorded his highest individual score of unbeaten 89 as West Indies chased down 147 against Afghanistan in 19.2 overs with seven wickets in hand in the third Twenty20 International at Warner Park to claim a 3-0 series victory.

West Indies selectors have called-up all-rounder Roston Chase for the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan.

Shai Hope played a crucial unbeaten knock of 48 as West Indies overcame another scare from Rashid Khan to win the second One-Day International in St Lucia by four wickets while chasing 136 runs.

A clinical all-round display from West Indies saw them defeat Afghanistan by 29 runs by DLS method in the second Twenty20 International at Warner Park to claim the series 2-0.

Rain played spoilsport at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia as the third One-Day International game between West Indies and Afghanistan was called-off without a ball being bowled.
