Adil Rashid picked his maiden five-wicket haul to curtail Ireland at 126 as Alex Hales' brisk 55 along with Joe Root's unbeaten 49 helped England cruise to a comfortable seven wicket win over Ireland in Bristol on Friday.

After a late flourish from Jonny Bairstow helped England post 328 for six, three wicket hauls from Joe Root and Liam Plunkett helped the hosts dismiss Ireland for 243 runs in the chase to win the second One-Day International at Lord's by 83 runs and wrap up the series 2-0.
