Shabnim Ismail picked a four-wicket haul while Sune Luus and Masabata Klaas snared two wickets apiece as South Africa Women dismissed Zimbabwe Women for 113 runs and chased down the target in 21.2 overs with seven wickets in hand in the seventh match of Women's Quadrangular Series in Potchefstroom.
Zimbabwe decided to bat first on winning the toss. Ismail (4-14) dismissed both the openers inside 11 runs following which Modester Mupachikwa (29) tried to wage a lone fight.
Apart from Mupachikwa, only Sharne Mayers (13), Pellagia Mujaji (15) and Josephine Nkomo (17) were the only players to cross the double figure mark as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 113 runs in 40.2 overs.
Lizelle Lee (17), Andrie Steyn (22) and Trisha Chetty (19) all got starts to put South Africa in course of victory which Mignon du Preez (22 not out) and Marizanne Kapp (16 not out) completed with the help of 18 extras.
The seven wicket win meant South Africa continue to remain at the second position with India Women continuing to top the table.
