Short and Tye blow away Queensland in JLT Cup
Queensland won the toss and decided to bowl at the Hurstville Oval, Sydney against Western Australia in the JLT Cup today.

Result - Western Australia win by 116 runs

D'Arcy Short (257) hit one of the most amazing ‘limited overs’ double centuries of all time. He batted for 186 minutes, faced 148 balls and hit 15x4s and 23x6s with a strike rate of 173.65.
Western Australia finished on 387 all out with three overs left on the clock. Matthew Kuhnemann 3-50 was the pick of the Queensland bowlers.
In reply, Queensland were never in the run chase after the departure of the mainstay of their batting Sam Heazlett 107 and Chris Lynn 58, as Andrew Tye 6-46 ripped through the lower order. Queensland were all out for 271.
