The Sydney Sixers have named a 15-player squad ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with crosstown rivals, Sydney Thunder at North Sydney Oval.

Claire Moore joins the extended squad as a local replacement for the injured Emma Hughes, who is continuing to recover from an ACL injury.

The 19-year-old batter made her WBBL debut last summer, making nine appearances in magenta.

The Sixers remain on a winning trajectory, taking home four points from their trip to Ballarat after successfully knocking over the Hurricanes and Renegades at Eastern Oval.

Ash Gardner set Ballarat alight on Saturday with a standout all-round performance, collecting 4-23 with the ball, before backing up with 43 (from 22) with bat in hand.

Alyssa Healy (78) and Suzie Bates (66) were the difference on Sunday afternoon, compiling a match-winning 151-run opening partnership.

Dynamic pair, Maitlan Brown (3-16) and Lauren Cheatle (3-28) lead the charge with the ball, ripping through the Renegades middle order.

The back-to-back wins see the Sixers return to the top of the table, currently sitting 5-1 after six games.

Tickets to Weber WBBL|08 and KFC BBL|12 are on sale NOW via Ticketek.

One of the fiercest rivalries in the competition, the Sydney Smash remains one of the most highly anticipated fixtures on the WBBL calendar.

The Sixers currently hold bragging rights over their crosstown counterparts, leading the head-to-head (7-6).

The Thunder were victorious when the two sides met last summer, with the Sixers keen to make amends for the six-wicket loss.

The Sydney Smash will kick off at 7.05pm (AEDT) on Wednesday night, and be broadcast live via Fox Cricket, Kayo Sports, cricket.com.au and ABC Radio.

Gates at North Sydney Oval will open at 3pm, with the double-header between the Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars set to begin at 3.30pm.
