The Sydney Sixers have named a 16-player squad ahead of tomorrow night’s do-or-die Challenger Final at the SCG.

The Sixers will host the Brisbane Heat on their home turf with both sides fighting for a place in the KFC BBL|12 Final against the Perth Scorchers at Optus Stadium on Saturday night.

The home side will be looking to right the wrongs from earlier in the season, when the Heat triumphed on New Year's Day at the Gabba, before the second meeting of the two sides was washed out at North Sydney Oval days later.

Boosted by the announcement of the re-signing of one of the club’s most-loved stars, Jordan Silk, the men in magenta will be on the hunt for a seventh BBL Final appearance in twelve seasons.

Silk (47*) and captain Moises Henriques (58) were vital with the bat in the Qualifier Final earlier in the week, while the league’s leading wicket-taker Sean Abbott continues to move from strength to strength, named in the BBL|12 Team of the Tournament alongside Steve Smith.

Sydney Sixers squad v Brisbane Heat:

Sean Abbott, Jackson Bird, Dan Christian, Ben Dwarshuis, Jack Edwards, Mickey Edwards, Moises Henriques, Daniel Hughes, Josh Kann, Hayden Kerr, Izharulhaq Naveed, Steve O'Keefe, Kurtis Patterson, Josh Philippe, Lachlan Shaw, Jordan Silk.

The Challenger Final will begin at 7.15pm at the SCG and will be broadcast live via Channel 7, Fox Cricket and Kayo.
