South Africa beat Zimbabwe in 2nd ODI and go 2-0 up to win Series

South Africa won the toss and decided to bat against Zimbabwe in the 2nd ODI at the Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein today.

 

 

South Africa 198 (Dale Steyn 68, Aiden Markram 35; Tendai Chatara 3-42)

Zimbabwe 78 (Hamilton Masakadza  27; Imran Tahir 6- 24, Dale Steyn 2-19)

Result - South Africa won by 120 runs

Scorecard

Batting first, South Africa were struggling at 101- 7 off 25.1 overs when JP Duminy was out. However, Dale Steyn 68 and Andile Phehlukwayo 28 managed to get them to 198 all out and give South Africa something to bowl at.

In reply, Zimbabwe were completely undone by Imran Tahir 6-24 and were bowled out for 78, Hamilton Masakadza  27 top scoring for Zimbabwe.
