Essex v Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire won the toss and decided to bat at The Cloudfm County Ground, Chelmsford against Essex this morning.
Nottinghamshire 311-6 (Ross Taylor 146 , Chris Nash 51)
New Zealand International Ross Taylor (146) batted superbly today after Nottinghamshire lost early wickets, supported by Chris Nash (51) Billy Root and laterly Tom Moores, Notts got to 311-6 at the close. Matthew Quinn (2-42) was the pick of the Essex bowlers.
Surrey v Somerset
Somerset was the toss and decided to field at Woodbridge Road, Guildford CC against Surrey this morning.
Surrey 351-5 (Rory Burns 66, Arun Harinath 48, Ryan Patel 48, Scott Borthwick 83, Ollie Pope 73*)
Skipper Rory Burns(66), Arun Harinath (48), Ryan Patel (48),Scott Borthwick ( 83 ) and Ollie Pope 73* all batted well for Surrey, taking their total 351-5 at the close play,having been asked to bat by Somerset.
Worcestershire v Lancashire
Lancashire elected to bowl at Blackfinch New Road, Worcester this morning against Worcestershire.
Worcestershire 247 (Daryl Mitchell 118; Jordan Clark 4-56, Joe Mennie 4-53)
Lancashire 86-5 (Ed Barnard 4-20)
Opener Daryl Mitchell 118 was the only batsman to get going for Worcestershire against the Lancashire bowling attack of Jordan Clark 4-56 and Joe Mennie 4-53. Worcestershire were eventually all out for 247.
In reply, Lancashire were 85-5, at the close of play, after a great spell of bowling from Ed Barnard 4-20, who reduced Lancashire from 77-0 to 85-5.
Hampshire v Yorkshire
Yorkshire won the toss and decided to bat at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton this afternoon against Hampshire, in this Day/Night fixture.

Yorkshire 315-7 (Gary Ballance 109 ,Harry Brook 79; Dale Steyn 4-48)
Yorkshire started badly with Adam Lyth, Alex Lees, Cheteshwar Pujara all back in the pavilion with the score 21-3. However, Gary Ballance 109 and Harry Brook 79 had a partnership of 143, which with Leaning 39 and Bresnan 33* helped Yorkshire to 315-7 at the close. Dale Steyn 4-48 was the pick of the Hampshire bowlers.
