Sri Lanka tour of India 2023: Full squads, Fixtures & Preview: All you need to know

Sri Lanka are in India for 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs which will be played from 3rd to 15th January, 2023.

India will come up against Sri Lanka, New Zealand, and Australia as they begin their home season. Sri Lanka are the first team to visit India in the New Year, with the first T20I starting in Mumbai.

Big names Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma have all been rested for the T20Is, with Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill expected to be given more chances at the top of India's batting order.

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and pacer Jasprit Bumrah are still coming back to full fitness and young guns Shivam Mavi and Mukesh Kumar have been picked instead.

Sri Lanka have continued to show faith in the leadership of Dasun Shanaka despite a lean T20 World Cup. Avishka Fernando and Sadeera Samarawickrama also find a place in the Sri Lankan squad. The visitors though will sorely miss the services of pacer Dushmantha Chameera.

The last match of the tour will be played on 15th January at the Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.
