Steve Smith spoke to the media after scoring a double century which has put Australia in a commanding position after day two of the Fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford.
Returning to the team after missing the third Test with delayed concussion, Smith made 211, which allowed Australia to declare at 8-497. England was 1-23 at stumps.
He received good support from captain Tim Paine (58) and Mitchell Starc (54 not out).
It was Smith’s third double century, with all of them coming against England, and was his 11th Ashes century.
The Ashes Test series is level at one all with Australia claiming the first Test at Edgbaston by 251 runs, the second Test at Lord’s ending in a draw and England winning the third Test at Headingley by one wicket.
