Stunning Punjab Chase Sees Off Sunrisers

The Kings XI Punjab chased down a target of 206 in 18.4 overs to hand the Sunrisers Hyderabad a six-wicket defeat to return to the top of the Indian Premier League 2014 standings.

Batting first, Hyderabad posted an excellent 205 for five in their 20 overs but were beaten by an outstanding run chase - one of several that the Kings XI have pulled off this season.

Naman Ojha hit 76 not out in 36 balls, Shikhar Dhawan 45 in 37, David Warner 44 in 23 and Aaron Finch 20 in 23 to set up the home side's score.

However, they were beaten thanks to brilliance with the bat from Wriddhiman Saha (54 in 26 balls),Manan Vohra (47 in 20), Glenn Maxwell (43 in 22) and finally David Miller and captain George Bailey, who were unbeaten on 24 in as many balls and 35 in 19 respectively.

The win nudges them back ahead of the Chennai Super Kings, with 16 points, on net run-rate.
