Surrey beat Hampshire by an innings and 58 runs in their SpecSavers County Championship match at the Ageas Bowl, which finished today.

Surrey 368 (Rory Burns 151, Ben Foakes 90; Fidel Edwards 5-93)

Hampshire 135 (Rilee Rossouw 46 ;Rikki Clarke 5-29)   & 175 followed on  (Joe Weatherley 50, Rilee Rossouw  39*; Amar Virdi 3-23; Morne Morkel 3-37)

Result - Surrey (23 pts) beat Hampshire (3 pts) by an innings and 58 runs

Hampshire trailed Surrey by 233 runs overnight and were bowled out for 175, losing by an innings and 58 runs - Amar Virdi 3-23 and Morne Morkel 3-37 doing the damage for Surrey.
