United Arab Emirates won the toss and decided to bat against Australia at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Nursery 1), Abu Dhabi today in their one-off T20I.

United Arab Emirates – 117-6 (Shaiman Anwar 41, Mohammad Naveed 27*; Nathan Coulter-Nile 2-20, Billy Stanlake 2-20)

Australia - 119-3 (D’Arcy Short 68*; Amir Hayat 2-26)

Result - Australia won by 7 wickets

United Arab Emirates scored 117-6 in their 20 overs with Shaiman Anwar 41 and Mohammad Naveed 27* the mainstays of their batting. Nathan Coulter-Nile 2-20 and Billy Stanlake 2-20 were the pick of the Australian bowlers.

In reply, Australia chased the runs down with almost 4 overs to spare,however, it was not quite in the convincing style they would have hoped for, losing 3 wickets in the process. D’Arcy Short top scored with 68* for Australia and Amir Hayat 2-26 was the pick of the UAE bowlers.
