Teenager Aaron Hardie Speaks After Claiming Four Wickets Against India
Western Australia teenager Aaron Hardie has made a name for himself, claiming four wickets for the Cricket Australia XI in their four-day tour match against India at the SCG.
Hardie, 19, claimed figures of 4-50 off 13 overs - including the prized scalp of Indian captain Virat Kohli - as the tourists were dismissed for 358.
A rookie-contracted player for Western Australia, the all-rounder has now claimed the wicket of two Test captains before making his state debut - having dismissed England's Joe Root ahead of last summer's Ashes Series.
Max Bryant (14*) and D'Arcy Short (10*) helped the CA XI reach 0-24 in reply at stumps on day two.
The first day of the match was abandoned due to rain.
Play is set to resume at 10am tomorrow.
The match is being live-streamed by cricket.com.au and the CA Live App.
