An extraordinary day's play saw England putting themselves, seemingly into a winning position, and then saw it slip away, as Australia completed a comprehensive 146 run win, on Day 3 of the final Ashes Test, at the Blundstone Arena, Hobart today.

Australia were 37/3, at the start of the day, with a lead of 152 runs, however, the England bowlers restricted them to 155 all out, with Mark Wood taking a career best haul of 6-37. England required 271 to win.
The England opening batters then got off to a positive start with an opening partnership of 68, before Rory Burns 26 was out, bowled Cameron Green and England went into the tea break at 68/1.
In the third session of the day, the pendulum swung towards England taking a winning position in this Test, and then it swung back to Australia again, as Cameron Green removed both Malan and Crawley.
It was all downhill for England from there as the tourists were bowled out for just 124 and Australia inflicted another Ashes Test win over England, this time by 146 runs.
