Convincing Win For Australia Over West Indies

Australia Women racked up an impressive 333 for five on their way to a convincing 135-run victory over West Indies Women in their first warm-up match ahead of the 2013 World Cup in Mumbai. There were half-centuries for Ellyse Villani, Rachael Haynes, Jess Cameron and Lisa Sthalekar and then two wickets apiece for Ellyse Perry and Sthalekar as the West Indies were bowled out for 198.

Australia Hand India Record Defeat To Claim Series

Australia Women thrashed India Women by 221 runs to comfortably move into an unassailable 2-0 series lead in a one-sided game in Mumbai. Meg Lanning scored 128 and Alex Blackwell 81 as the tourists piled up 300 for seven and India were blown away in reply, bowled out for just 79 as Ellyse Perry returned five for 19.

Fields Leads The Way As Australia Go 1-0 Up Over India

Captain Jodie Fields led by example with an unbeaten half-century to set up a 30-run victory for Australia Women over India Women in the first One-Day International in Ahmedabad. Fields' 64 not out in as many balls helped her side to post 227 for six batting first and a brace of wickets apiece from Ellyse Perry and Lisa Sthalekar held India to 197 for eight in reply.

Australia Women have recalled Ellyse Perry, Alyssa Healy and Julie Hunter to their 14-member squad for the Rose Bowl series against New Zealand Women. The two teams meet in five Twenty20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals between 20th January and 3rd February in Sydney and Melbourne.
