IPL 2013: Vinay Kumar Bowls Bangalore To Victory

Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Mumbai Indians by two runs in the second game of the Indian Premier League 2013, beating Mumbai in Bangalore for the first time in five attempts. After Chris Gayle's 92 had helped Bangalore post a challenging 156 for five, Mumbai were in trouble before Dinesh Karthik struck a quickfire 60 but Ranganath Vinay Kumar took two wickets in the final over to seal the win for Bangalore.

Mithun Replaces Injured Vinay Kumar For T20s

The injuries to India's fast bowlers continue to rack up as Ranganath Vinay Kumar has become the latest player to be ruled out of the two Twenty20 Internationals against England. Vinay Kumar, himself a replacement for Lakshmipathy Balaji earlier this month, has in turn been replaced by Abihmanyu Mithun for the matches in Pune and Mumbai.

Indian fast bowler Lakshmipathy Balaji has been ruled out of the two-match Twenty20 International series and has been replaced by Ranganath Vinay Kumar. Balaji has a stress injury to his right big toe and will miss both matches, on 20th and 22nd December in Pune and Mumbai.
