Victorian fast bowler Scott Boland has been added to the Australian squad for the Vodafone Ashes Boxing Day Test in Melbourne.

For scoring 211 runs in the two Twenty20 International games against Sri Lanka and leading Australia to a 2-0 series triumph, Glenn Maxwell is the Cricket World Player of the Week.

Fast bowlers Scott Boland and Joel Paris will be making their One-Day International debuts for Australia in the first game of the five-match series against India which gets underway in Perth on Tuesday.
