West Indies wicket-keeper batsman Denesh Ramdin has been picked by Trinbago Knight Riders for the remaining games of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Ramdin has been included as the replacement player for Javon Searles, who will miss the remainder of the tournament due to a shoulder injury.

Earlier, Ramdin was set to replace Fidel Edwards in the St Lucia Zouks side but was not able to do so due to an injury he suffered in the final of the tri-series against Australia.

Recently Ramdin disclosed on the social media platform Twitter that he has been dropped from the Test side to face India in the upcoming four-match Test series.

Later on Ramdin unleashed an attack slamming the West Indies chairman of selectors, Courtney Browne, who allegedly told the 31-year-old that his batting average was not good enough.

With only one win from four games, the defending Champions Trinbago Knight Riders are currently placed fifth in the CPL points table and have a net run rate of -0.301.
