UAE D10: Cremer’a side goes down by eight wickets

It was a disappointing second day for former Zimbabwe spinner Graeme Cremer in UAE’s domestic tournament as his side Abu Dhabi went down by eight wickets to Sharjah Bukhatir XI in the Emirates D10 tournament.

 In the first match of the second day of the tournament Cremer’s side was asked to bat by Sharjah in the 10 overs a side contest at the ICC Academy Oval 2 ground.

 Abu Dhabi was bowled out for 81 in their 10 overs. For Sharjah the best bowler was Umair Ali with figures of 4-6. The only batsman offering any resistance for Abu Dhabi was opener Abid Ali with 33 off 11 balls with three boundaries and three sixes.

 The chase for Sharjah was quite easy as their openers Renjith Mani (29) and Khalid Shah (20 not out) added 53 for the opening wicket. Later Rizwan CP (25 not out) applied The finishing touches to the chase with an unbroken 28 run stand with Khalid Shah.
