Vaughan, Swann, Pietersen and Ponting to be part of BT Sport's international cricket coverage

BT Sport have added another dimension to their international cricket coverage with former England cricketers Michael Vaughan, Graeme Swann and Kevin Pietersen along with former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting to be part of their expert panel.

BBC Radio 1 presenter and co-host of Not Just Cricket on BBC Radio 5 live, Greg James, will front the coverage on BT Sport and will be assisted by award winning Test Match Special reporter Alison Mitchell based in Australia.

BT Sport holds the rights for all the Tests, One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals played in Australia while they will also be broadcasting T20 Big Bash League, the Women’s Big Bash League and the Women’s Ashes series.

With South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka set to tour Australia, the coverage will include a total of six Tests, eight ODIs and three T20Is.

South Africa are set to tour Australia for a three-match series which begins on 3rd November. Vaughan, Swann and Ponting will be part of James' hosting while Pietersen will join Mitchell in Australia to give his expertise.

Head of BT Sport, Simon Green, is delighted with the involvement of Vaughan, Swann, Pietersen and Ponting and further expressed confidence in providing a comprehensive coverage to the viewers.

“We’re excited to be adding international cricket including next winter’s much anticipated exciting Ashes series, and the hugely successful Australian Big Bash, to the line-up of exclusively live sport available to BT Sport viewers.

I hope viewers will enjoy our cricket coverage and we’re thrilled that Greg James is joining BT Sport along with some of the greatest players of recent times.”
